Certifying the Truth, 2013
In a moment of vulnerability for both the artist and the audience, the artist offers to hear and certify
varying “truths.” Inspired by bureaucratic procedures, being a foreigner in one of the largest cities
on the planet, and the subjectivity of the ‘truth,’ Certifying the Truth was presented at the Sir JJ
School of Art, Mumbai, India in February 2013. Certifying the Truth is a an interactive performance in Marathi and English.
This project was included in The Elements and Principles of 4D Art & Design and Emergency Index Vol 3.
